Image
Blue Apron was the first brand to bring meal kits to American homes. With pre-portioned ingredients, approachable recipes, and plenty of variety to choose from each week, Blue Apron has remained a big player in the meal kit space, even inspiring dozens of look-alike competitors.  These days, Blue Apron has the you-cook meal kit down to a science. They've also started to offer heat-and-eat meals for the days when you need dinner fast and want to skip the clean-up. You can even add Blue Apron wine pairings, pantry items, and cooking tools to your meal kit delivery. Of course, we're all about the food. So we put a week of Blue Apron meals to the test. We received three meals and assessed the experience of receiving the box, how easy the recipes are to make, and most importantly, how they tasted.  If you're looking for a new meal delivery service option, here's what you need to know about Blue Apron.  Blue Apron review: Fee...

Image
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Next week, hundreds of kids from across the country will be in Washington, D.C., hoping to spell their way to victory in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Five spellers will be representing the Volunteer State, including Armaan Singhvi, a Nashville fifth grader at Harding Academy who says he's ready for the competition. "He's our class dictionary," said Harding Academy fifth grade teacher Jennifer Belcher. "When anybody needs help spelling a word, they don't get on Google, they don't ask me, they ask Armaan." Armaan says his favorite word is one of the longest words in the dictionary: pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis — 45 letters long with 19 syllables. For all you word nerds, it's a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silicate or quartz dust, occurring especially in miners. Outside of the classroom, Armaan says he likes golf, tennis, art and poetry. He's even the Tennes...

Camila Giorgi was spoken to about her choice of dress for the French Open third round but the fashion faux pas didn't distract the Italian as she marched ahead in Paris. Giorgi was spoken to by the umpire before her match against Sabalenka got underway, the official appearing to have an issue with an advertising logo on her dress being too big. "I don't have any change, this is my only dress. I played with it before," Giorgi reportedly said.
