Hair Metal Legend Says Head-banging Took A Toll On His Body. 'I Cannot Do That Anymore.'

Famed hair-metal frontman Sebastian Bach said he's toned down his onstage head-banging antics.

The former Skid Row frontman recently opened up about tweaking his rock-influenced violent head shaking in an episode of the Come On Over podcast with Jeff Mauro.

"I've gotta dial it back physically," Bach said. "That head-banging b-------, I cannot do that anymore."

The 56-year-old musician revealed the performance head-banging has taken a toll on his body. He said his brain tells him not to perform timidly although his body often aches after shows.

"I have this thing where I get on stage and my brain says, 'Don't be a p----. F------ kick their ass," he shared.

"When I'm onstage, I don't know why, but I don't feel any pain up there. I laugh when I'm on stage. I go, 'Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Oh, my ankle hurts.' And I say to myself, 'Nobody's here to see your f------ ankle! Nobody cares about your ankle!'" he said. "So, I don't know why I'm like that, but when I get off stage, my shoulder goes, 'Hey man, f--- you. Hey, you don't care about your shoulder, huh? You don't care about your back, you don't care about your neck. Well, guess what? You're gonna be caring about it tonight, and when you wake up tomorrow, your neck is gonna be [stiff] like this.'"

The singer performed 75 shows throughout 2024 after the release of his album "Child Within the Man." He currently only has one show, in North Dakota, slated for 2025.

Bach achieved mainstream stardom as the lead singer for Skid Row from 1987 to 1996.

He was inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame in 2024.

Food Network Fans Shocked Anne Burrell Is Missing From 'Worst Cooks In America': She Speaks Out

Chef Anne Burrell's unexpected absence from Food Network's latest season of Worst Cooks in America has sparked confusion and concern, with the celebrity chef herself admitting she's in the dark about the decision. Burrell, who has been a cornerstone of the culinary competition series since its 2010 debut, is noticeably absent from the current Celebrity Edition: Heroes Vs.
